Pattaya: Sukhavati

I had five executive holidays from 13-17th of May. It's a very fun time. I traveled through 3 provinces and the first city that I like to talk about is Pattaya (it's in Chonburi province if you don't know)

My parents and I went to Baan Sukhavati (a paradise in Mahayana Buddhism's belief)or Sukhavati house. It looks like a palace painted in pink, blue and gold and its design features a mixture of classic and Thai style. The place belongs to Mr. Panya, an owner of Saha Farm ( a chicken farm ). The initial purpose of constructing this place is as an auditorium for the employees.

The dining-room is located on the underground floor.

After You

Today I've got a chance to go to After you, a dessert cafe, on 1st floor Paragon department store. It is very famous for its Shibuya Honey Toast. I can guarantee you that it is not disappointed. They served 2 Vanilla ice creams on top of the toast. Then, you have to pour the syrup on it and let the syrup run through the space of an already-cut toast. The toast is crispy outside and very soft inside. Furthermore, the chocolate on top of the toast is not very sweet making it a perfect combination with the syrup. Just think of it has made me feel really hungry.

PS. It seems like this blog has turned into a food blog. (Laugh)

The Circle

The other week, my mother and I have visited a new cute shopping place called "The Circle".There are many beautiful shop and also fancy restaurants and bakeries.

The owner of the shop above told us that they have to pay 80,000 Bht. per month for the rental fee. OMG!!

Otomen!!

28th March 2011 : Today I finished watching Otomen. It's a Japanese series, adapted from manga version, about a boy, Asuka, who has a heart of a girl, meaning he likes cooking, sewing, girl comics and dolls. However, he has to keep his girlish feeling as a secret to his mother. She wants him to act like a real man which is a result from Asuka's father who left him because he wants to be a woman. The series is very funny and the protagonists are very cute. It also high-lightens the theme 'honest to your heart' throughout the whole story. Such a great philosophy and a good for relaxing

Too much free time! (Plz don't pay attention to bg ^0^)

Kanom Koon Yai's Thai traditional snack

Kanom Koon Yai is located beside a road that leads to Amphawa Floating Market. It's a small Thai bakery decorated in Thai ancient style and can be seen distinctively.

Their taste is good but not outstanding. By the way it's a good place for relaxing and taking pictures.

My thought-it-was-stolen necklace watch

Last Saturday, I did a very terrible mistake because I accused an employee of stealing my necklace. Turned out. it was in my mother's bag. Luckily, it is only my presumption. I haven't ask the employee yet, otherwise, it would hurt her feeling. Geez! That's close!
Oh, almost forgot to mention that on that day I also had an appointment to do a level test at British Council. I guessed my brain was kaputt because I thought I had a test at 8.15. Actually, it was 9.15. Still there is a good news. My test result is great. I've gotten Upper Intermediate level. That's real close to Advance, if my vocab ain't so suck and pulled the score down.

Strawberry Fair

I went to a Strawberry fair on the third floor, Central Chidlom. Turned out that there were no strawberries but tulips. Then they shouldn't call it Strawberry Fair in the first place. Anyway, I spotted a beautiful cardigan in Muji. Really took a long time to decide whether I'd buy it. Finally, my desire won over my moral. Sorry mom!

PS. You might get confused with the date I posted. That's because I decided to move messages from my Weebly website and posted them on here instead.

Yu Aoi in PS

This is the first time I bought PS. I just saw Yu Aoi on the cover. Thought there would be more pictures of her inside. Anyway, the magazine worth the price with many beautiful clothes, shoes and accessories. Also the free scarf is made of good quality textiles. It's a must-buy.
Anyway, anyone know what Lyceene is. I can't find it on google or dictionary. So, I'm quite curious about what is Yu's outfit's theme.

Wedding Dress !?

I would die just to wear these wedding dresses (though I should find a BF first). It looks very pretty. I always dream about a wedding in the wood. Only parents, relative and some friends. No luxurious or ornate decorations.Dreamy again. Haha

Nature is my name

Mori girl or a girl in a forest. This Japanese fashion style is really fascinating. The first time I saw it I knew that it's my style. Green, brown and white and loosing dresses. So simple and easy-going. If only I could live in a forest, far away from this noisy city and chaotic life and test!!
